Everyone Is Looking For Something - Original

$2,400.00

This drawing is part of a series of 3 that explores the outcomes of an absurd attempt at making cumulus clouds: capturing something ephemeral- lightness and loading. The resulting image presents a cacophony of pink bits and disembodied body parts in a ‘Wizard of Oz’ moment where a ‘heavy cloud’ lands on earth. The 3D cloud is made from recycled Kennards house-removal boxes, raising questions of consumerism. The artist integrates herself into the image through performance and photography, examining the weight of consumerism, unseen labour and gendered roles within domestic spaces.

Unframed.
